What is the purpose of Creation Update?

I have a question related to science and the Bible. How do I call Creation Update?

  • Be sure to call Tuesdays, between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Pacific. 1-866-RTB-RADIO (1-866-782-7234). For the best connection, call from a land line phone, or get stationary with your cell phone.
  • Once you get through to the screener, be prepared with your question. It may help to write your question down so you do not forget while you are on hold.
  • Turn your computer speakers OFF — not down — because there is about a 15 second delay. You will be able to hear the show while on hold.
  • You’ll know you are on the air when you briefly hear some static.
  • Be sure to stay on the line once your call is complete so that our screener can follow up with you and put you in touch with any additional resources you may need.

I have a comment, not a question. Do I call the show?

In general, we limit on-air calls to those who have specific questions related to science and the Bible. If you have a comment to make about the show, or if you have a personal testimony to share about how the ministry of Reasons To Believe has made a difference in your life, please call 1-866-RTB-RADIO after hours and leave a message. (By leaving a message you are implicitly giving us permission to play your message on the show. We would love to share the good news with others.)

I have a topic/article/web site to bring to Dr. Ross’s attention. What is the best way of getting it to him?

The best way to bring topics to his attention is to email the show at We read all emails sent to us and take them into consideration when programming the show’s content.

Do you have transcripts available of Creation Update?

No. Transcripts are unavailable. But you can listen to all past shows on demand through our archives (look for the word "archives"). Each show is accompanied by Show Notes, where we list bibliographic information for all articles and resources mentioned on the show, in addition to the questions asked by our callers.
