Reasons Academy - General Course DescriptionGeneral Course DescriptionReasons To Believe’s year-long high school Philosophy of Science elective, Good Science, Good Faith, combines what students have learned in their science textbooks with the best biblical research. Good Science, Good Faith covers critical questions students will face during their college years:
The Good Science, Good Faith course allows students to compare and contrast a variety of viewpoints, including evolution, young-earth creation, and old-earth creation. Students discover how to use a fact-based approach to faith to answer controversial questions for themselves. Teens will gain the practical insight needed to navigate the challenges of our secular culture. Most importantly, students will discover how the discoveries of science confirm the accuracy of the Bible and that they can put their confident trust in Jesus Christ as the Creator! Content for the 20-lesson course comes from the research and writing of Reasons To Believe scholars. Our instructors break down complex concepts into appropriate segments that teens can grasp. The first half of the course lays the biblical foundation for integrating the Bible with modern science, while the second half explores the differences between the worldviews of creation and naturalism.
