Our Mission

The Denver Network of Reasons To Believe provides and environment for people who share a common interest in RTB and science-faith issues to meet together for the purpose of fellowship, training, and ministry.

Today, science in nearly every field of study, is pointing to a finely-tuned universe creating an open door to introduce people to the confirming truths in the Bible and to the Creator, Jesus Christ. Our goal is to equip believers with new reasons to believe so that skeptical individuals can be shown that the Author of creation and the Bible is one and the same.

To carry out our mission we endeavor to:

• Conduct our efforts in the spirit of 1Peter 3:15, "But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect."
• Equip ourselves and others to lead sessions in churches, schools, colleges, and other venues
• Arrange special outreach events
• Further promote the international ministry of Reasons To Believe

Meetings

Saturday, January 17, 2009 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Tactics in Defending the Faith: Richard Elwood, a member of Denver Reasons To Believe, discusses a strategic approach to apologetics developed by Gregory Koukl at Stand To Reason. Come learn about the Columbo tactic and "taking the roof off."
