8-Week Courses
Courses taken through Hope International University consist of 8-week sessions. Those who are interested in becoming a RTB Volunteer Apologist or taking courses through Northern California Bible College will follow the same schedule as Hope International University students.
- Critical Thinking Skills - Spring 1 (mid-January–mid-March)
- Creation and the Bible - Spring 2 (mid-March–mid-May)
- Creation vs. Evolution - Summer (early June–mid-August)
- Astronomy and Design - Fall 1 (mid-August–mid-October)
- World Religions and Science - Fall 2 (mid-October–mid-December)
Eligible graduate students may earn credit for the above courses and work toward a Certificate in Apologetics through Hope International University.
Reasons To Believe also offers the following courses for audit in the Fall for those interested in becoming RTB Volunteer Apologists. Others are welcome to audit these courses as well.
- Creation and the Bible - Fall 1 (mid-August–mid-October)
- Creation vs. Evolution - Fall 2 (mid-October–mid-December)
15-Week Courses
Those courses taken through Biola University as part of the M.A. in Science and Religion program follow the 15-week semester system and are offered in the fall and spring. For information about how to audit these courses directly through Reasons Institute, call our office directly.

- Advanced Seminar on the Origin of Life - Fall (late August - mid-December)
- Advanced Seminar on Human Origins - Spring (late January - late May)
- Biblical Archaeology - Spring (late January - late May)
