- Presentation and Telescope viewing
  Dan Bakken, chapter president, will speak at an outdoor special event, followed by telescope viewing, including the world's largest portable amateur telescope! If the weather is bad, we will reschedule to September 24, a week later.
  Time: 6pm for solar observation, 7:30pm for Dan's presentation, 8:30pm for telescope viewing.

- Ray Luse, chapter vice president, speaks at Session 6 on Thursday on Five Views on Genesis 1.

- Symphony Under the Stars
- Northview Bible Church has arranged for Dan Bakken, local chapter president, to give an evangelistic presentation at the Nine Mile Falls Resort. The evening will start with classical music, then Dan will speak. Dan will bring his 41" diameter telescope, Hercules, for attendees viewing pleasure afterwards.
- Time: 7-10 pm.
- Directions: Take Francis West toward Nine Mile (it is called Hwy 291 on the map). Cross over the dam over the Spokane River. Turn right onto Charles Road, Turn Right onto Hedin Road. Watch for signs for the Nine Mile Re sort. It is a dirt road between two farm houses on the left hand side of the road

- Dan Bakken, chapter president, will speak during the Sunday school hour on February 8 at Messiah Lutheran (This is the event from November that had to be postponed.) He'll speak on proof for God from science.
- Time: 9:15am - 10:15am.
- Location: 4202 N Belt St. in Northwest Spokane. That's on Belt, 3 blocks north of Garland.
