    • Dr. Michael Shermer will be speaking for our OC chapter meeting at First Evangelical Free Church in Fullerton. Dr. Shermer is the Founding Publisher of Skeptic magazine (www.skeptic.com), the Executive Director of the Skeptics Society.

Organization: The Orange County RTB Chapter is a local extension of the worldwide, inter-denominational Reasons To Believe ministry.

Vision: We believe all truth is God's truth. This truth is revealed in the words of the Bible and the record of creation. Both God's word and the record of creation can be integrated to:

  • Address the questions of skeptics and lead them to faith in Christ
  • Strengthen the faith of believers to help them find a new joy and confidence in worshipping God

Mission: Dependent upon the leading and power of the Holy Spirit we see the OC Chapter:

  • Providing support and encouragement to its members
  • Producing RTB-trained apologists
  • Promoting RTB resources in the Christian community
  • Partnering with other ministries
  • Providing outreach opportunities
  • Supporting Christian educators
  • Responding to skeptics' inquiries
  • Developing a speakers' chapter
  • Sponsoring training conferences
  • Building and maintaining a website
