Our Vision
The Reasons To Believe Melbourne network exists to replicate the mission of Reasons To Believe in our local area. Our goal is to help anyone who seeks truth and a relationship with their Creator (wherever they are on their spiritual journey), to grow in their knowledge of their Creator and into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
We encourage anyone who has an interest in science & faith issues to join us on a regular basis and share in our discussions. We encourage all those who live in the Space Coast area to contact us at . There are many Reasons To Believe.
To carry out our vision we desire to:
- Encourage those who already have a relationship with Jesus to appreciate the overwhelming evidence in support of their faith and of the reliability of Scripture.
- Provide an avenue of learning & investigation for those who have yet to commit to Jesus, by providing evidences for the Christian faith in an open friendly forum.
- Provide a world view that can help to answer life's tough questions with the humble realization that there is much we don't know, and are always working to fine tune our views with greater discovery and research.
- Organize special outreach events and regular meetings.
- Make resources available for sharing information & leading discussions.
What We Believe
Events/Meetings
- Please join us at our local network meetings. We meet monthly, 7 pm - 9 pm, in the Florida Institute of Technology Evans Library Link Multimedia Room (2nd floor). University address is 150 West University Blvd., Melbourne, FL 32901. Upcoming meeting dates include: May 8, 2008; June 12, 2008; July 10, 2008; and August 14, 2008.
