Vision/Mission
The Dallas Network of Reasons To Believe seeks to locally fulfill the RTB mission of removing the doubts of skeptics and strengthening the faith of believers in matters where science and the Christian faith interact.
Although the members of the Dallas Network share an affinity for all things scientific and technical, we recognize that these things are only the means to an end goal. The end goal is service of God practiced by outstretched hand to His children.
To the skeptic and unbeliever, we pour out love by paving the way to reasonable faith in Christ.
To the believer, we offer encouragement by explaining how science reinforces faith in Jesus Christ as Creator and Redeemer. Many believers live in fear that the next scientific discovery may crush their faith. Many have compartmentalized their lives, erecting an artificial wall between matters of faith and matters of scientific fact. The message of Reasons To Believe is that established science can be allowed to mingle with our Christian faith without contradiction or erosive effect.
