Reasons To Believe Australia is a group of evangelical Christians committed to promoting and supporting the work of Reasons To Believe in Australia. The organization is led by Damien Spillane in Sydney and Mike McLerie in Perth.

The material presented endeavors to provide Biblically sound and scientifically valid answers to questions about God, the Bible and nature. These forums provide an opportunity for people interested in the relationship between science and the Bible to explore and discuss the issues. Perth

Reasons To Believe Perth, Australia is based in Western Australia, from Riverview Church. Mike McLerie is the Director for Reasons To Believe Perth Chapter and has been involved in ministry at Riverview Church since 1986. Mike is professionally qualified as a geophysicist with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Geophysics) and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Physics (Petroleum Exploration). He has been working actively in the petroleum exploration industry both in Australia and overseas since 1984. Mike is married to Linda and they have three healthy children: 7, 5 years old and a 1 year old baby girl.

Sydney

Damien Spillane is a certified Reasons To Believe apologist and the chapter head in Sydney. He is passionate to show that all scientific truth, whether in physics, geology, astronomy or biology finds ultimate meaning when in the light of biblical truth. When we study the creation, we will see reflections of it’s Creator, for all truth is God’s truth.
