Star-gazing

Star-gazing

Summer’s officially here. That means it’s time to dig up the camping equipment and head into the great outdoors. I grew up in a family that loved to camp and I’ve continued that tradition with my own children.

As “the number one outdoor vacation activity in America,” camping provides the opportunity to escape crowds, work, and smog. Without light and air pollution tainting the view, visits to the outdoors offer the chance to better enjoy the natural wonders of the spectacular nighttime sky.

While we can use our eyes to marvel at our nearest celestial neighbors, astronomers employ various instruments and methods to see much deeper into space. Their findings reveal details consistent with a created order.

Please see this previous TNRTB for an example of how the stars provide evidence for a Creator.
