Podcast Classic: Symbolic Capabilities

A few days ago I wrote about new work by an international team of archaeologists that adds weight to the evidence that modern humans with symbolic capabilities occupied coastal caves in South Africa about 70,000 years ago. As I discussed, this insight places the emergence of anatomically modern humans and modern human behavior closer together and helps to resolve an inconsistency in the RTB model for human origins.

When this discovery was first reported in early November 2012, I responded on our podcast Science News Flash. The purpose of this podcast is to provide a Christian perspective on science in the news.
