A new study reveals God’s hand in human history. A geophysicist has calculated that the clear cutting of forests to make way for intense cultivation of crops that began 8,000 years ago prevented the onset of an exceptionally cold climate for the northern hemisphere. Consequently, a large human population and an extensive advanced human civilization were able to be sustained for thousands of years. It seems that the planet was “prepared” for what is usually thought to be a negative human activity: deforestation. These circumstances suggest that the timing of humanity’s introduction and the timing for the initiation of the launch and spread of human civilization are no accidents but, rather, demonstrate God’s intent and plan.
