Extrasolar Planetary Systems

Thirteen multiple planet systems have been discovered. These systems, however, all appear to manifest mean motion resonances and apsidal phase locking which are detrimental to life. So far, the discovery of extrasolar planetary systems demonstrates the uniqueness of the solar system for life support.
