Biggest Cosmic Structure

TNRTB Archive - Retained for reference information

Astronomers have uncovered more evidence for biblical cosmology. Analysis of the First Data Release of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey reveals the largest cosmic structure ever discovered, the greatest wall yet of galaxies. The Sloan Great Wall is 1.37 billion light years long, making it 80 percent longer than the Great Wall discovered about ten years ago. The size of the Sloan Great Wall means that astronomers now have found the largest cosmic structures predicted by the big bang. Since the Bible described the fundamentals of big bang cosmology thousands of years before any scientists or philosophers conceived of the concepts, this confirmation of big bang creation models helps support the Christian faith.
