Since the Bible predicted in considerable detail thousands of years ago that the universe possesses fundamental big bang features, scientific confirmations of such big bang features provide powerful evidence for the Christian faith. Recently, astronomers discovered a new tool for putting the big bang creation model to the test. They found a class of very metal-poor galaxies that will give astronomers an additional tool for measuring the universe’s primordial helium abundance. Since one of the more important predictions of the big bang creation model is a particular value for the universe’s primordial helium abundance, this new tool can add to the evidence in support of the biblical cosmic creation model.
