All Christians have dual citizenships. They are members of two kingdoms or cities: the city of man (the present, temporal age) and the city of God (the future, eternal age).
Faithful citizenship requires the discharging of important duties and responsibilities in both spheres of allegiance. But how can the believer in Christ balance his or her responsibilities to two such distinct kingdoms?
The final article in this review of Christian eschatology (the study of last or future things) explains what these two allegiances consist of and how the follower of Christ can balance them both responsibly. As I continue my work on a new book manuscript, I hope you will continue to find this article series helpful.
