Dr. Hugh Ross
Hugh Ross is an astronomer and founder and president of Reasons to Believe, an organization dedicated to demonstrating the compatibility of science and Christianity. Hugh earned his BS in physics from the University of British Columbia and his MS and PhD in astronomy from the University of Toronto. While in college, he dedicated himself to faith in Christ following an in-depth study of Scripture that convinced him of the Bible’s factual accuracy. Today, Hugh is the author of multiple books (such as Why the Universe Is the Way It Is) and speaks on science-faith issues to audiences around the world.
Abdu Murray is North American Director with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. For most of his life, Abdu was a proud Muslim who studied the Qur’an and Islam. After a nine-year investigation into the underpinnings of the major world religions and views, Abdu discovered that the historic Christian faith alone can answer the questions of the mind and the longings of the heart. Abdu holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan, JD from the University of Michigan Law School, and is the scholar in residence of Christian Thought and Apologetics at the Josh McDowell Institute of Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
Following an extensive career in research science and teaching, molecular biologist Anjeanette “AJ” Roberts joined Reasons to Believe (RTB) as a visiting scholar in 2015 and, in 2016, became a permanent member of RTB’s scholar team. As an RTB research scholar, AJ puts her passion for truth to work engaging in science-faith topics such as evolution and design, harmonizing science and Christianity, and a theological perspective on viruses. She holds a BS in chemistry at the University of Tulsa, a PhD in molecular and cell biology from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MA in Christian apologetics from Biola University.
Dr. Jeff Zweerink
Research scholar and executive director of online learning, Reasons to Believe Astrophysicist Jeff Zweerink is research scholar and executive director of online learning at Reasons to Believe, an organization dedicated to demonstrating the compatibility of science and Christianity. He earned a BS in physics and a PhD in astrophysics with a focus on gamma rays from Iowa State University. A lecture by RTB founder Hugh Ross convinced Jeff that integration of science and faith is possible. Today, Jeff is coauthor of the Impact Events student devotionals and speaks on the evidence for creation from exoplanets and multiverse theory. He also participates in dark matter research at UCLA.
Dr. Fazale Rana
Biochemist Fazale (Fuz) Rana is vice president of research and apologetics at Reasons to Believe, an organization dedicated to demonstrating the compatibility of science and Christianity. Fuz earned his BS in chemistry at West Virginia State College (now University) and his PhD in chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry at Ohio University. His studies of cellular systems convinced him of a Creator’s existence and set him on a journey to faith in Christ. Today, Fuz is author of multiple books (including Creating Life in the Lab) and speaks on the evidence for creation from biochemistry, genetics, and human origins.
